Briony Jane Photography

Briony Jane Photography I have always loved to take photos. Ever since I got my first camera at the age of 10. I have now decided to share my love for photography with others.

I love capturing the natural beauty that the land and nature has to show us. Please enjoy.

I’m doing a business training course and we have to do some research on how our product will sell.
I’m wanting to really get my photography business going so I have a couple of questions I would like to ask please.

1. Would you buy my Landscape/Nature pictures?
2. How much would you look at spending on a picture?
3. Would you be interested in a Fantasy Photography shoot? (If you don’t know what this is please let me know)
4. How much would you pay for a Fantasy photo session?
5. Where would you be most likely to by my work from? (Facebook, markets, web sight, Etsy etc)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Last night was a full moon, so I thought I would share a couple of pictures I've taken of the moon in the past.
I have a Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera as my main camera. This has a telescopic lens in built, so I can zoom in really close to objects without changing lenses. I set the camera up on a tripod. This helps to keep the camera still so you can get a clearer picture.
I love the details you can capture with the telescopic lens, like all the craters on the moons surface.
It does take a little bit of adjusting to get the correct settings, but once you do the result is amazing.

Sky On Fire

That is the title of this picture.
The yellow and orange that was in the sky last night really was spectacular and the added cloud cover just highlighted them beautifully.
Having the darker clouds blending with the red and yellow really makes it look like the sky is on fire. The black outline of the trees and the hill, just brings the colour out more and adds a moody, dark feel to the picture.

Starting to edit the pictures I took yesterday. Loving the results so far.
Having clouds in a sunset or sunrise picture, I feel, adds so much depth to the picture. It allows the colours in the sky to really stand out more and POP, as my daughter said.

What do you think about having clouds in pictures?

Found some new locations to photograph this afternoon. Couldn’t resist pulling over and capturing this windmill with the sunset behind it. Looking forward to going through the pictures I took.

Picture frames have arrived. Now it’s time to decide what pictures to put in them?
I have 6 to fill to get ready for sale.

Any suggestions on what they should be?

The World Is My Canvas And My Camera Is My Brush.
I love the abstract look of the dark branches and leaves against the gorgeous colours of the setting sun.

I've been busy catching up on editing today. Here are a few.

I am editing my photos from the Highfields Falls and even though I like to keep my pictures as natural as possible, sometimes I like to experiment.

Below is the same picture. The first one is slightly edited, to add a bit more colour and contrast to the picture.

The second one, I turned the contrast all the way up and the brightness all the way down. I then added some slight colour.
The end result created a magical look within the water.

Let me know what you think?
