Sometimes you just have to be a big kid.
We were filming Book Week at our children’s school and there was absolutely no chance we weren’t getting in on the costume action.
The kids dress up. The teachers dress up. So obviously we’re getting involved too.
And yes, it helps with filming. When you’re dressed just as creatively as everyone else, the camera suddenly feels a lot less intimidating.
But mostly, it’s just fun.
We think it’s good for kids to see adults being silly sometimes. Dressing up. Playing along. Not taking themselves too seriously.
Growing up doesn’t mean you have to stop having fun.
And apparently being a filmmaker occasionally requires a costume.
We’re okay with that.

There’s something about dads.

The quiet support. The terrible jokes that somehow become part of the family.

This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the dads and father figures who have helped shape our stories.

Because as the years pass, it’s often the smallest moments with Dad that become the memories we hold onto most.

Let's record Dad's story today.

We all have stories to share.

Some are about where we have been. Some are about what we have overcome. And some are about the moments we are most proud of.

The trophies might sit on a shelf, but the stories behind them deserve to live on.

Let's tell your story.

Your life is far more fascinating to the people who love you than you may realise.

The stories you tell, the way you laugh and the little memories you carry are all part of what makes you, you.

And one day, those may be the things your family treasures most.

Whose stories would you love to hear more of?

This was more than an event to film.
We took on the overnight challenge alongside the community and saw firsthand the generosity, compassion and commitment behind the Coast Shelter Sleepout.
Proud to help tell this story.

Most people think a Founder Story is about looking back.

It's not.

It's about giving people a reason to believe in where you're going.

We had the privilege of filming Emma Fisher's Founder Story. In this behind the scenes video, Emma shares why she decided to record her story, how it will help her business, and what the experience was like.

Your story is often the one thing your competitors can't copy.
People don't just buy products or services. They buy people. They buy values. They buy purpose. They buy trust.

A Founder Story helps your clients, team and future customers understand not just what you do, but why you do it.

Thank you, Emma, for trusting us to tell your story. It was an absolute pleasure working with you.

If you've ever wondered whether your story is worth recording, we'd love to have a chat.

Most people think life stories are only for older people.
They’re not.

Who you are at 30 is not who you’ll be at 50.
Who you are at 50 is not who you’ll be at 80.

And that’s the point.

Your story is not something you only record at the end of your life.
It’s something you can capture along the way.

Your kids, your family and the people who love you may one day want to hear what life felt like for you right now.

What you were building.
What you were worried about.
What you were proud of.
What you were still figuring out.

Because every chapter matters.
Not just the final one.

Your Story has been named a finalist in the Local Business Awards, and we’re genuinely so grateful.

Our business has never really been about cameras, lights, or nicely framed shots (although we do that too!). It’s about people.

It’s about the stories we carry, the ones we forget to tell, and the ones that deserve to be kept forever.

Every family has stories.
Every founder has stories.
Every business has stories.
Every person has stories that someone, somewhere, would give anything to hear again one day.

So to be recognised for doing work that means this much to us is pretty special.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your story, supported us, recommended us, encouraged us, or let us help you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera was even there.

That’s always our favourite part.

Sometimes the reason for recording a story is simple.
You can feel time moving.

Your parents are getting older. Their stories, memories and life experiences are too important to leave to chance.

In this video, one of our storytellers’ sons shares why he chose to record his parents’ story.

Not just for himself but for his sisters and the grandkids and the generations still to come.

He also had a feeling his parents might open up more to Derek than they would to him.

And they did.

That is one of the special things about this process. Sometimes, when someone is gently guided by the right person, stories come out that even family members have never heard before.

Now those stories are captured on film.

Forever.
