Day 3 - sharing TSLR until grows.

These words meant so much to me when one of my posts was shared recently to a story - ‘Love the way you see running events.’

Those words landed because that’s what I always aim for - to see events, the people, the moments, the achievements, the atmosphere, human moments at their very best.

I’d love to ‘see’ your event or brand. Reach out if you’d like to chat with me about what that could look like.

Day 3 - believe in possible.

Day 2 of sharing TSLR until is grows.

So much more than a photo… a moment, a memory, a feeling, a quiet word of encouragement.

What does a TSLR photo mean to you? Please comment, like, share and if you don’t already, follow. You are what makes TSLR special and my goal to capture more of you, doing what you do.

Message me if you’d love TSLR to capture your event, your brand, your community, and maybe even you.

Day 1 of sharing TSLR until it grows.

I believe in possible and right now I have to believe more than ever. And I have to do something I have never been good at - asking for help.

Today is also day 1 of TSLR, the next evolution of The Sunday Longrun.

Please read through the slides and I’d love to hear from you, and even more today, help you tell your story. Amd yeah… the world is the playground so lines on maps are not barriers to helping you tell your story.

And most importantly;

Keep smiling.
Keep being awesome.
Keep moving.

And believe in possible.

When the air moves and the ground shakes and all heads turn skyward wondering what it’s like to touch the sky.

An unplanned excursion to River Fire this afternoon because who can ever say no to watching planes…

I have to say, gotta love the 50 cent train fares 😁

So here’s the really cool thing about running… there are so many different formats and groups out there that you really can find your tribe. Was awesome to get out this morning with Run Community Club for the monthly Chase 5 handicap race… it’s 5k, you submit your time amd the handicap is then worked out and it’s on amd it means everyone has a chance! It’s once a month, finding a home on Saturday morning and starting at Broadbeach, so watch out for the October race and get along if your looking for something a bit different, it’s a very fun morning. Thanks for having me guys 😊👊

Gallery of photos coming soon 🔜.

From the creative mind of Josh Manning | Runner | Artist - these are Stupid Souvenirs - incredible art pieces representing the cities of the World Marathon Majors.

Sure everyone gets the medal… but what about a souvenir from the city… ‘cause everyone loves a stupid souvenir!

This is BK, Josh’s original piece representing Sydney, AND BK did a tour of the course on marathon day too!

These are original art pieces by Josh Manning, and BK is available now in a very limited run.

DM Josh or Paul Manning | TSLR for details.

Stupid? Maybe.
A souvenir? Definitely.

Was it km 35 to 42 or 13 to 15… by this point you were running in all directions… the streets were full of goals and dreams and bucket list ambitions… 40,000 of you taking the next step and the one after that… 400,000 of you willing on someone special you were there for and 1,000’s of people who took your breath away by the effort… and then there was the Opera House like a giant magnet set against the most spectacular harbour there is, drawing you to finish what you started… and every doubt that entered your mind started to fall away with the realisation that your were finishing TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS 😎

And yes for some, that finish remains elusive, but you know what… that’s ok too, it’s part of the journey, never discount that you showed up, because you didn’t have to… and that means you can show up again, because nothing worthwhile is ever easy.

And for me… mission accomplished… I tracked J & B from start to finish and caught them across the line. There’s a lot happening at the moment… it made this one special. Im@proud of you boys… anything is possible, you prove it everyday day 👊.

And now, it’s time for the next adventure.

Km about 14 to 35 - by this point, s**t was getting real, well for me it was anyway… damn those Lime bikes are heavy when the power doesn’t work anytime you get to close to the course… and how about that hill up the bridge over ANZAC Pde near the stadium in Germany (🤣)… I don’t know about you but I was really feeling the burn… anyway, enough about me, you were all still looking fresh as daisies and taking it all in your stride, and it was beautiful… this is TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS from behind my lens in the pursuit of my boys… what a day 👊

From the bridge to Pitt Street - km’s 2 through 13… the legs start loading… it’s still feeling ok, but you begin to realise that the next opponent… is you.

This is TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS as I saw it through my lens. Sunday’s mission was to chase Josh Manning | Runner | Artist and Ben Manning to the end. It was epic, every effort, every step.
