✨ Introducing Your Photoshoot Questions, Answered! ✨
I get asked a lot of questions about personal branding photoshoots, and I realised it’s time to start sharing those answers in a way that helps you feel informed, empowered, and excited about showing up for your business and yourself.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be diving into some of the most common (and maybe not so common) questions I hear from women just like you. Whether you’re curious about what to wear, how the shoot actually works, or how to feel less awkward in front of the camera, I’m here to walk you through it all.
Each post will focus on real, honest answers with clear, practical guidance to help you feel confident and prepared if you're considering a personal branding photoshoot.

So let’s kick things off with one of the questions I get asked alot.
Q: How did I learn to pose women of all ages, shapes, and sizes so they look amazing in their photos?
This skill definitely didn’t come overnight, and it’s one of the parts of my work I’m most proud of.
When I first began, I knew I didn’t want to be just someone who could take a “nice” photo. I wanted to create images that made women stop, smile, and truly see themselves and often for the first time in years. I quickly realised that great posing wasn’t just about angles and technique; it was about helping women feel safe, confident, and completely seen.
For me, it was never just about capturing “pretty” pictures. I wanted every woman who stepped in front of my camera - regardless of age, shape, or size - to look at her photos and say, “That’s really me… and I love them!”
So, I made it my mission to learn from the very best. I spent years studying the work of someone I believe is the most gifted women’s portrait photographer in the world. Her work resonated with me on a deep level - it was full of strength, softness, sophistication, and authenticity all at once. I even had the chance to attend one of her in-person workshops, and it was truly a turning point for me.
What I learned went far beyond technical posing (though yes, I picked up countless tips for flattering every body type). The biggest shift came from understanding how to gently direct and guide women in a way that feels natural, encouraging, and empowering - not stiff, awkward, or overly posed.
I became fascinated with the smallest details - the tilt of a head, the angle of a shoulder, the positioning of a hand. Even the tiniest change can make a massive difference in how strong, confident, and beautiful someone looks and feels in their photos.
Over time, I developed a deep understanding of how to pose women in a way that brings out their natural confidence - without them ever needing to know how to pose. My job is to make it look and feel effortless.
And here’s what I believe with my whole heart... You don’t need to change a single thing about yourself to have photos you love. What you do need is someone who knows how to see your magic, and help you see it too.
That’s exactly what I do!
And that’s why my clients leave their shoots standing a little taller, smiling a little bigger, and feeling a whole lot more confident.
If you’re ready to finally have photos that reflect who you really are - no awkward posing, no guesswork, just relaxed, supportive guidance every step of the way - send me a DM and let’s start a conversation about how we can make it happen for you.
