From the endless alpine pastures of Issyk-Kul to the dramatic red rock canyons that surround it, Part 3 takes us even deeper into the wild heart of Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬

We explored the shoreline of Issyk-Kul Lake, wound our way through towering sandstone canyons, and climbed up onto a vast high-altitude plateau with panoramic views that honestly didn’t feel real. Endless horizons, remote tracks, and that feeling of complete freedom you only get out here.

If you’ve been dreaming about hiking, overlanding, or road-tripping through Kyrgyzstan, this stretch of the journey will make you want to pack your bags immediately.

From the wide open plains of Song Kul Lake to the remote beauty of Kel-Suu, this was one of the wildest days of travel we’ve had in Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬

Slow mountain roads, the legendary 33-corner Parrots Pass, river canyons, high-altitude hiking, and finally arriving at Kel-Suu’s hidden lake at 3,500 metres.
