My name is Lilli Bestmann and I am a 23yr old Australian photographer. I started photography back in 2014 when I had the opportunity to try a proper professional camera and I was hooked. I was able to start my journey off with borrowing yet another camera. I set out nearly every afternoon and I would shoot anything and everything I found interesting from detailing of flowers, trees and grass to wi

ldlife, and my favourite, our very own pets. I was entirely self taught, up until 2020 when I actively started professional photography training and saw a massive improvement. I love photography, being able to capture a unique moment in time to admire for years, I find it fascinating. I specialise in pets and animals, trying to capture the beauty, personality and uniqueness each individual has to offer. I like to sit and watch, patiently waiting for my eyes to catch an opportunity to collect a unique image for others to enjoy. I am very much an animal person, I love to study animal behaviour and mannerisms. The way they communicate and socialise with each other and with their bonded humans its beautiful to watch and I love to try and capture that in an image for a lifelong keep-safe. I am a sucker for details I always try to look for pictures most people and other photographers may miss, the grip of a lemur or the underside of a tongue. This is my goal, to share with you my perspective of the world.
