It's almost as if they are posing for the photo, but these agile wallabies are very timid. This mother is looking and listening for any signs of threat and ready to bounce away if she feels the need. The joey on the other hand, is just along for the ride.

It was raining this morning so there was not too much sunlight. I set my camera up perfectly for much darker conditions, then saw this, so did my best with editing the over-exposed shot I took.

The Osprey is a huge raptor with talons as large as your hands and a beak capable of stripping flesh from bone. Yet this tiny Willie Wagtail by comparison, seemed annoyed by its presence and wasn't shy in telling the Osprey it needed to move on. The Osprey stayed, but only after the Wagtail said its piece, brave bird!

White-Spotted Puffer, as cute as this one is, it can also upset your day if you bother them. They contain a potent neurotoxin which can cause paralysis leading to death. This toxin is also heat stable, so can't be destroyed by cooking. Still cute though!

Update: It's a White-streaked Grubfish found from Southern QLD to the central coast of NSW.
