Around home lately… 🌸

My winter garden has changed pretty quickly over the last few days. The warmer weather is starting to heat up the ground, and some of my winter flowers are slowly starting to fade.

So I thought I’d snap a few shots before everything changes again… the poppies are popping, the bougainvillea is blooming, and of course Maggie the Magnolia has had her seasonal moment 😍

The South Coast is about to come alive again, warmer mornings, longer afternoons, salty swims, colourful sunrises and that first little hint of summer in the air ☀️🌊

Definitely my favourite time of year… even if my hayfever strongly disagrees 😂🤧

Narrawallee Beach putting on an unforgettable winter morning with soft pink skies, rolling fog and plenty of swell. It was absolutely freezing, but mornings like this are pretty hard to beat. 🌊🩷

I’m so excited to announce that our very first Collective exhibition, “Collectively Creative” opens this Friday!🎨✨

I’m stoked to be exhibiting alongside some of the incredibly talented artists and makers from The Collective Beat Kiama, Gerringong & Huskisson Kiama, Gerringong & Huskisson for our first collaborative exhibition.

📍 Kiama Old Fire Station
📅 Friday 28th August – Wednesday 2nd September
⏰ Open daily, 10am–4pm (10am -1pm on Wednesday 2nd)

Collectively Creative brings together a beautiful mix of art, photography and handmade pieces, and it’s such a great opportunity to showcase the creativity within our Collective community in one unique space.

Good morning from Shellharbour Marina 🌅

There’s something pretty magical about sea smoke… but have you ever wondered what it looks like from above? 😍

Turns out, it’s even dreamier.

I sent the drone up while the soft steam was rising from the ocean, and the view was incredible. It almost looked like I was looking out of a plane window, down through the clouds.

🇦🇺🌼 Australia’s Favourite Wildflower! 🎉
The incredibly beautiful, and one of my personal favourites, the flannel flower has been crowned Australia’s most amazing wildflower for National Science Week 2026. 🇦🇺

I loved hearing this story yesterday, and how cool is it that we have these incredible native wildflowers right here in our own backyard! 🌿

Whenever I stumble across flannel flowers on my walks, I feel incredibly lucky to see them. I just love their fuzzy beauty and resilience. 🤍🌿
