Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Brian and his incredible artwork for the upcoming Huon Valley Art Trail.
There’s something really special about Brian’s work. Each piece is completely unique, carved by hand and full of character, texture and movement. His sculptures seem to find their own personalities in the natural shapes of the timber — from graceful, abstract forms to wonderfully quirky creatures.
It was a privilege to spend some time in his creative space and hear a little about the stories and process behind the work. These photographs are a small glimpse into the man and the art behind them.
