I enjoyed a wonderful evening at✨🎨Creative Hearts Co. 🎨✨for 'The Art of Business' workshop, presented by Eric Allgood from SBAAS. The session was filled with valuable insights, practical advice to support small businesses — especially creative businesses like mine.

It was also incredibly special to finally see my artwork on display!

I’m excited to have two of my pieces featured in the Light After Shadows exhibition, running from 28 April – 30 May 2026, alongside a collection of works from other artists.

🎨 To Bloom After Shadow: 🎨
This artwork reflects the challenges young people face when striving to shine. Each of us is born with unique gifts and abilities, yet the shadows cast by the torment of others can dim that light. Through courage and self-healing, we can step beyond these shadows, allowing both nature and nurture to help our light bloom once more.

🎨 Passage to Rewire: 🎨
This piece reflects the challenges experienced by a young neurodivergent person—where thoughts can tangle, senses swell, and emotions move in unfamiliar rhythms. Yet within the Passage of time lies the power to Rewire: through understanding and gentle self-healing, new pathways begin to emerge. What once felt overwhelming gradually softens, unfolding into growth, resilience, and a reimagined sense of self—where mind and body can find their own unique harmony.

I really enjoyed creating these pieces, bringing together my love of creativity, photography, and digital fine art painting. It’s always rewarding to see an idea evolve into something tangible and meaningful.

Today we pause to remember.

As a family and portrait photographer, I’m constantly reminded of how precious time is — the quiet moments, the connections, the stories passed from one generation to the next.

This ANZAC Day, I honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served, and the families who carried their legacy forward. Their stories live on not only in history, but in the lives we’re able to live today — with our loved ones close.
