even when you're being washed away in the rain 🌧️☔

I had a really fun time at St Andrews PC Dressage Day yesterday! Even though there was more rain than I've maybe ever seen in my life. 😅 There was even thunder at one point!
I think I managed to get every competitor even with having to take a couple of breaks to change my soaked through jacket. So keep an out for all the photos which which should be available within the next few days!

Even though it's not as "exciting" as other events I really enjoy photographing dressage it's a great opportunity to get up some really nice up close and personal shots of horse and rider as it's a bit less chaotic than say cross country or show jumping.

I'm looking forward to photographing dressage again this Sunday May 3rd at St. Andrews Pony Club!
I'll be the only photographer for the day so I'll try my best to photograph everyone who is competing. Please don't hesitate to approach me for quick portraits with you and your horse or pony too! ☺️💜

Another throwback ✨
This is one of my favourite photos I've ever taken. I'm not really sure why I guess I just like the candidness of it and the obvious affection between horse and rider. 🐴💕
It was taken at Yarra Glen Show in 2012. 🗓️
I'll be off to Yarra Glen Pony Club again this weekend for their horse trials!
