One month ago, we said goodbye to Australia. 🇦🇺🤍

The country that became our greatest adventure and the place that gave us the courage to take the leap.

Over nine unforgettable months, Australia became our home while opening the door to ten incredible countries, countless cultures, unforgettable landscapes, and memories we’ll carry for a lifetime.

Looking back, we’re grateful for every road trip, every sunset, every new friendship, and every lesson learned along the way.

Australia wasn’t just another destination.
It was the beginning of everything that followed.

Hi! We’re Mylena and Stef from , a Brazilian-Dutch couple sharing the places, cultures, and moments we experience around the world together.

Life lately ✨

The past couple of weeks have been filled with slower days, meaningful moments, and small discoveries along the way.

From celebrating the launch of 2024 Bacchus Family Wine with friends 🍷
to taking the time to explore small towns and the unique things that make each place special, whether it’s local art, hidden corners, or unexpected little details.

And of course, ending some days in the best way possible, watching breathtaking sunsets over Fremantle. 🌅

This is what life has looked like lately, and honestly, we wouldn’t want to rush it. 🤍

Hi! We’re Mylena and Stef from , a Brazilian-Dutch couple sharing the places, cultures, and moments we experience around the world together.

Feel free to join the journey ✨🌎

Wellington Dam, Western Australia 🇦🇺

Around 2 hours from Perth,
this is home to the world’s largest dam mural.

The artwork, Reflections, tells the story of the Noongar community, the traditional custodians of this land, and their identity, culture, and deep connection to it.

For the Noongar people, the land is not just a place.
It is part of who they are, carrying history, stories, and spiritual meaning passed through generations.

Each portrait represents real people from the region,
reflecting everyday life, heritage, and a strong sense of belonging to the land.

Placed on the dam, the artwork reconnects the space to its original history,
reminding us that this land held meaning long before the structure was built,
and giving visibility to the people and stories that have always been part of it.

It’s not just about the scale,
it’s about the meaning behind it. 🦘

10 days in Kuala Lumpur. 🇲🇾

A city where cultures meet,
where modern skylines rise next to places filled with history and meaning.

From the Petronas Twin Towers and the glowing path of the Saloma Link,
to the steps of Batu Caves, the calm of Thean Hou Temple,
and the history held at Merdeka Square.
Each place revealed a different side of the city. 🎞️

We were lucky enough to witness the celebrations of the Chinese Lunar New Year,
and at the same time experience the unique atmosphere of Ramadan.

Surrounded by special foods that only appear during this period,
as our cab driver proudly explained,
it felt like we were seeing a side of the city not everyone gets to experience.

So much culture, so much to celebrate,
and above all, so much warmth from the people. ❤️

Kuala Lumpur isn’t always at the top of the list…
but that’s exactly what makes it worth discovering. ✨

Some places don’t need hype,
you just have to experience them for yourself. ✨💐

Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾

Two identical structures, connected in the middle,
built to stand strong on their own, but even more powerful together.

For years, they were the tallest in the world,
and today they remain one of the clearest symbols of the city.

Under the lights of Kuala Lumpur, with the right person, the Petronas Twin Towers feel even more magical. ✨

Now tell us,
who would you share this view with? ❤️

Bazaar Ramadan in Kg Baru is more than just a food market, it’s a full cultural experience in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. 🌙✨

As the sun begins to set, the streets come alive with the aromas of freshly cooked dishes, colorful stalls, and a vibrant energy that brings everyone together.

From traditional Malay flavors to sweet treats prepared right in front of you, every corner offers something new to discover. A true celebration of food, community, and tradition.

During Ramadan, these bazaars become part of daily life, where people gather to prepare for iftar, breaking their fast surrounded by flavors, culture, and connection.

A place where you don’t just eat, you experience. 🧧✨

Thean Hou Temple, one of the most beautiful and significant temples in Southeast Asia, stands above Kuala Lumpur as a place where culture, spirituality, and architecture come together. 🏮✨

Dedicated to Mazu, the Chinese sea goddess believed to protect fishermen and travelers, the temple carries deep cultural meaning for the Chinese community in Malaysia. 🌊

During the Lunar New Year, it transforms into something even more special, covered in hundreds of red lanterns, symbolizing prosperity, luck, and new beginnings. 🌙🏮

Beyond its beauty, this is an active place of worship, where tradition is still very much alive, blending peacefully with the modern skyline of the city.

A place to slow down, observe, and feel the meaning behind every detail. 🧧✨

📍 Free entry
👗 Dress modestly (it’s a functioning temple)
🚕 Best reached by Grab
🌅 Visit early morning or late afternoon for the best light
