I grew up in a place where rain was rare and clouds were something you chased.

In Alice Springs, dark skies meant excitement. We’d climb to the very top of the swing set just to catch a glimpse of the storm rolling in — hoping for puddles deep enough to splash in and gutters fast enough to race our leaves.

Now I get to photograph moments like this in Darwin.

A mother, barefoot on stunning cliffs. Her baby in her arms. The sky painted in soft pinks and gold as the wet season rolls through.

Some people count down to the Dry…

But there’s something about this air, these clouds, these sunsets — they feel like magic to me.

Trust me when I say Tatum made me work, he ran, he explored and he did not stay in one spot... and thats where i thrive!
