At The Light Room we see a lot of great photos shot by you! We wondered if any of you out there would like the opportunity to exhibit your favourite image (or images) in a gallery situation where you could invite friends and or family to check out your work!
We’ll provide the w**e and nibbles for an evening extravaganza - you provide the images, shot on film, and developed by The Light room.
T’s & C’s apply - and there will be a cost involved for printing and mounting but we think it would be a great opportunity and a celebration of Film Photography.
Let us know what you think and we’ll organise the rest….

Developing so much of my clients film, I’m fortunate enough to see lots of stunning images from around the world. Here’s a selection I thought worthy of displaying shot by ‘Finlay’. If you enjoy them, like and share to inspire others….

I recently took some studio shots of my beautiful, brave and courageous wife Amanda.
She wanted to document this stage of her journey and thought the images would be positively empowering. She is a vibrant, passionate and positive person and despite enduring cancer and chemotherapy, it has not diminished that spark.
It has, on occasion robbed her of her dignity. It’s disabled her taste buds and turned her body into a labyrinth of pain points and the continuous cycle of treatment and side effects is a terrible and dramatic rollercoaster. But Amanda endures, still working full time or as much as she can.
Even with advancements in the treatment of cancer chemo is still brutal and as Amanda says - very humbling.
Hopefully, these images portray what I see every day which is a beautiful and courageous woman choosing an upbeat approach to dealing with the disease. I also hope they inspire others on a similar journey to stay positive, keep going and think of the return to normality that will surely come.

I love showcasing peoples picture and this set shot by Freya 🍓 last year in Italy was captured with a Kodak single use camera. Perfectly demonstrates how, it’s as much about being there, having a good ‘eye’ and enjoying the surprises that film photography delivers. Developed by us of course…..
