The 2026 Australian Masters Indoor Championships saw the introduction of the Decision Review System (DRS), providing players, officials and spectators with an additional level of transparency and confidence in key decisions throughout the tournament.

✅ Overturned Decisions: 167
❌ Unsuccessful Reviews: 314
❓ Inconclusive Reviews: 63

🎯 Overturn Success Rate: 30.7%

Over eight days of competition, the system was used extensively, with more than 500 reviews processed across the championships. The statistics highlight both the value of the review system and the high standard of umpiring throughout the event, with the majority of decisions remaining unchanged following review.

The introduction of DRS marks an exciting step forward for the Australian Masters Indoor Championships, demonstrating a commitment to fairness, accuracy and continual improvement in the delivery of the tournament.
