If you’re expecting, let me try to convince you why a beach maternity photoshoot is a good idea (yes, even in winter!)

1. Golden hour at the beach is magical. The soft, warm light is universally flattering, and in winter this falls around 4-5pm which can be much easier for families to work around.

2. Aussies love the beach so they’re often packed, but on a clear winter day it’s usually much quieter, so your session will feel more private, peaceful and relaxed, allowing you to really sink into the moment.

3. The beach is the perfect backdrop for couples and families alike to play, engage and focus on their connection with each other and with bub, creating natural, authentic moments that feel genuinely you.

Whatever the season and wherever the location, I am a firm advocate of slowing down to celebrate this moment.

Because the waiting is worth remembering, too.
