Soooo, this is super exciting for our little business. After MANY requests we are finally looking into school photography in addition to kindy photography. To do this we need to do some portfolio building so we can create marketing material.

We are opening up our Chapel Hill studio on Thursday 6th April for primary school photography sessions.

$20, 5 minutes per child, and you get all the digital files to download (5-10 photos at least per child). (This is a HUGE discount on our usual prices.) Children must be photographed in their school uniform.

You must be happy to give us permission to use the photos in our marketing (names are never used and we make any logos blurry so they can't be identified.)

Hello!
We are currently looking for an Experienced, causal Photographer to work at Kindys and Childcare Centres throughout Brisbane.
We are specifically looking for photographers who can work in these areas:
-East Brisbane
-North Brisbane
-Gold Coast
You will need to submit a portfolio of at least 20 images you have taken. Fully paid training will be given to the successful applicant.
The successful applicant must:
- Have excellent photography skills:
*ability to keep up with and photograph fast moving little ones.
*particular attention for getting images in focus.
*able to spot the best light in tricky situations (limited shade, coloured shade sails)
- Love working with children from 6 weeks to 6 years old.
- Have the ability to quickly connect with little ones and bring out their best.
- Be bubbly, energetic, quick on your feet, and have great organisational skills
- Be happy sitting on the floor (and getting up and down 50 times a day) and running round after speedy children.
- Have or be able to get a Working with children Blue card
- Comply with current Covid mandates
- Have reliable transport to travel to different locations all over Brisbane
- Not be afraid to wipe messy faces. (ie. not scared of a little or a lot of snot!)
- Be a morning person! Workdays start on site at 7:30am, finishing up by around lunchtime.
- Excellent English is a must.
The role:
- Working together your photography assistant
- Set up and pack down of studio equipment (full training given)
- Communicate with centre staff on site
- Getting little ones ready for their photos: wiping faces, combing hair, checking for boogers
- Supervising groups of children while they are waiting to be/being photographed
- Must be available up to 5 days per week (Monday-Friday), on a casual basis (school term work only), starting on site at 7:30am, and finishing usually around lunchtime.
- Rosters are done a month in advance, we are really flexible with schedules and you can let us know how much you'd like to work and dates you're not available.
