Baby Akemi - 24 hours new.

Fresh 48 sessions will forever be one of my favourite sessions. The fresh, newborn bubbles - siblings meeting their new little brother or sister, the wrinkly feet, flaky skin.. the list goes on!

2019.

The year I drove over an hour to photograph this family at their home/property and where I instantly gained a friend I didn’t know I needed in my life.

Homemade apple turnovers, 4x4 bumpy drives to the top of the hill, icy winds that left us all with red noses and lots of laughs along the way - it will truly be a day I will never forget.

This family has held a special place in my heart since that day, but even more so today.

Hello and happy Sunday!

I've been a little quiet on here but I've been working hard in the background with a few sessions here and there, as well as normal day-to-day life and managing family illness.

However, exhibit A: this gorgeous extended family session from a couple of months ago. 3 generations, lots of laughter, love and a dog. What more could you want?

These moments in the hospital soon after your baby has arrived are so special and because they seem like such a blur, this is where I can help.

Imagine soon after you’ve had bubba, I arrive and capture these moments for you. One of the first feeds, meeting siblings, those precious cuddles just soaking in all of your baby love. No need to dress up, just be in your natural newborn bubble state.

Now that restrictions have eased, these sessions are available again and I would love to chat with you if this is something you’re interested in.

Hello everyone and welcome to 2023! 🎉

It’s no secret that I displayed a little bit of radio silence last year - it was rough but I’ve come out the other side stronger than ever.

I will only be offering two types of sessions this year so please see below a little bit of information.

LIFESTYLE NEWBORN:

My aim is to capture raw, real, authentic moments with you and your newest family member. These sessions are done in the comfort of your home within the first month of your bub’s life - and can include your fur babies if you wish. The session will be approximately 1 - 1.5 hours long and I will very happily pause the session if your bub is unsettled or needs to feed.

FAMILY MINIS:

Outdoors, fun, laughter and sunsets - these sessions will be held in the evenings and will entail lots of laughter. These sessions are a quick 30-45 minutes and will be relaxed and I promise if you’re not one to enjoy being in front of the camera, I will not make it awkward for you!

I met this beautiful baby girl last week - and it really is always such a pleasure photographing this family.

This sweetheart is so loved already, seriously. The beaming smiles, laughter and love in the home just made my heart so full.
