Not every toddler is immediately convinced about their new sibling.

But this beautiful big sister? She was completely smitten.

The gentle cuddles, proud smiles, and constant desire to be close to her new baby made this session such a joy to photograph. These early days are about so much more than welcoming a newborn. They're about the beginning of a brand new relationship too. 💛

Those first curious little gazes are some of my favourite moments to capture.

With baby looking straight into the camera, there's nowhere else for your eyes to go. The simple, neutral studio backdrop keeps the focus exactly where it belongs: on your beautiful baby and all those tiny newborn features you'll never want to forget.

And on these chilly winter days, the studio is warm, cosy, and calm. A little cocoon where we can slow down and create timeless photographs while the cold stays outside.

Capturing all the tiny details of those early days at home with your baby is one of my favourite things to do. The soft wisps of hair, curled little toes, milk-drunk cuddles, the way they fit so perfectly in your arms. These days can feel long and blurry all at once, and there is something so special about preserving the quiet beauty of them exactly as they are.

And I love it.
