Sailor's Bay, Sawtell

This is one of my favourite spots to head to for sunrise when visiting my parents on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

The dark rocks can be challenging. Grateful when the lighting gets turned on.

I never get tired of this spot.

Taking time out to navigate my thoughts during a journey to reunite with my first mother, I wandered along the shores of Bunbury. I've been keen to take on the challenge of capturing sea motion for some time. Living quite inland, however, has made this a challenge. Lake George

Driving back to Canberra from Sydney by night offers a good opportunity to find dark sky places with limited light pollution.
Lake George is a good spot on the way to deploy your tripod and take long exposures to capture the Milky Way. I love photography in all its dimensions, mostly wildlife underwater and above, but astrophotography gives you another perspective of the universe and I want to explore it further.

On Thursday, as I was returning from work around 5:00 pm and walking between Bingham Cct and Mortlock Cct (Kaleen), I saw this cherry plum blooming, and then when I got home, I quickly grabbed my camera to make the most of the golden hour. When I reached the tree, the clouds covered the sun, but that didn't stop me from capturing this beautiful flower.
