What’s on across the Northern Rivers this weekend 🔥

There’s live music, a huge free street party, late-night tea and ambient grooves, a designer flea market, country dancing, cinema, martinis and plenty of reasons to leave the house.

Father’s Day is covered too, with long lunches, Sunday roasts, Italian feasts, beachside dining and a free afternoon of music by the river.

Swipe through, save your favourites and send this to the people you’re making plans with.

Tweed Regional Museum is turning Queensland Road in Murwillumbah into one huge free street party this Saturday.

From 3–8pm, the street will close to traffic and come alive with live music, food trucks, art, creative workshops, roving performers, family activities and a silent disco.

There’s also The Light Within, a large-scale immersive installation featuring 16 glowing “secret garden” structures that will transform the precinct after dark.

Add in a full main-stage lineup and Tweed Regional Museum open late, and there’s plenty happening from afternoon into the evening.

Saturday 5 September, 3–8pm on Queensland Road, Murwillumbah. Free entry.

Paid partnership.

The rumours can finally stop, Totti's has officially confirmed it’s coming to Byron Bay.

The cult Sydney Italian will open at 111–115 Jonson Street, transforming the former Cheeky Monkey’s site on the Browning Street corner opposite Mercato. One of Byron’s rowdiest old nightlife addresses is about to get a serious Italian glow-up.

Known for its signature wood-fired bread, antipasti, handmade pasta, charcoal cooking, spritzes and long lunches, Totti’s will form part of a new Merivale dining precinct alongside Jimmy’s Falafel.

There’s no confirmed opening date yet, but the announcement is official. We’ll share more as it lands.

Jonson Lane has plenty going on right now, with new openings, fresh menus, new-season collections and a few very good reasons to make a stop.

BASSIKE has officially opened its Byron store, Bar Heather has rolled out a new seasonal menu alongside Thursday night jazz, and PIXIE ITALIAN BYRON BAY is leaning into aperitivo with $15 cocktails throughout the week.

Over on the fashion front, VENROY Marseille 26 and NAGNATA MOVEMENT 21 have both landed, while Strong Week is bringing a full week of movement, challenges and community to the STRONG Pilates Byron Bay studio. Don’t forget to pop into Blue Arrow Coffee Roasters 👀☕️

Truffle season has landed at The Belongil and they’re making a night of it.

On Thursday 20 August, belongilbistro is serving a five-course menu dedicated to premium Australian truffles sourced by Friend & Burrell, alongside a signature cheese fondue showcasing selections from renowned affineur Will Studd.

There’ll also be carefully selected wine, craft beer and non-alcoholic pairings to match, making this less of a standard Thursday dinner and more of a full winter feast.

Created exclusively for the season, it’s all about exceptional producers, great ingredients and one of the most decadent flavours of winter, served at one of Byron’s buzziest new dining destinations.
