Teaching photography at a one on one pace is so rewarding and skills develop rapidly. This week I was illustrating the concept of ‘depth of field’ to a client at home. ‘Depth of field’ is the distance between the nearest and furthest objects that are in focus in a photograph and is controlled by the lens aperture. My favourite little vintage duck candle holder was the perfect prop, nestled beside a jar of pink sand 💕

First Frangipani of the season in my new ‘hood💛 Anyone who has moved house (and interstate) knows how chaotic life can become pretty quickly. No wonder instagram hasn’t received much love from me in the past months. But sunny new dawns await and I can sense some blossoming… like the frangipanis 💛
