Ian is a film tourism consultant, accomplished landscape and unit stills photographer and author of many books including The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit Location Guidebooks. Ian is one of New Zealand’s largest selling non-fiction authors. His The Lord of the Rings Location Guidebook, was one of the inaugural Booksellers Platinum Award titles, and Cameras in Narnia, simultaneously published in four countries, had one of the largest initial print runs of any New Zealand book.

I am pleased to share my latest enhanced e-Book created for the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions. Working with text provided by the department I have added many of my own images, interactivity and design to provide a book of over 100 pages showcasing the Kalgulup Regional Park located near Bunbury in Western Australia.

I will post some of my images over the next few weeks.

My latest work for Screenwest, here in Perth. Places and locations that could be somewhere else in another country. I’ll leave it to you to guess where they could double for. Was a fun project that allowed me to see some different parts of the city along with honing some skills. The brief stipulated no cars or people in the images.
