Not a win, not a loss — just a warning shot 😈🔥 Banyo Devils held it down for a gritty draw against ladder-leaders Albany Creek🪜⚔️ They came expecting points… we gave ‘em problems. Proud of the boys for digging deep and proving we’re right up there with the best 💪

After a surprise week off thanks to the Jets pulling a no-show Banyo came back with a bang! Took down the Pine Rivers Bears and put them back in hibernation. The Devils had a bit of a celebrity appearance today with Kaufusi hopping on the field.

Banyo boys did it again! but this one was bigger than footy. Honoured to play in the John Jetediah Lokotui Likio Memorial Trophy match and even prouder to bring it home. Every hit, every hustle was for a legacy that lives on beyond the game 🙏 The Kangaroos came to bounce, but we stood taller, playing with heart, fire, and deep respect. 🏆 🏉

Took our first sting from the Hornets in Game 4 🐝😈 but the Devils won’t stay down for long. The fire’s still burning and the spirit’s alive — one loss won’t shake a team built in hell 🔥 Back to the grind, and trust… the comeback’s gonna be unreal 😤

3 games. 3 wins. The Devils are on 🔥 and sent the West Mitchy Panthers back to the jungle 😈🐾 Undefeated and untouchable — they’ve been raising hell since Game 1 and today was no different. Panthers tried to claw back, but we were on another level. 🏉🔥

Round two Open Men’s wrap up from Todd Coulta.

Round 2 saw the Devils travel out to Narangba to take on the Rangers. After a lacklustre warm up the boys were called into action by Zac Wapau and the team responded with heavy defence and early tries to Harry Geiger and Jeremy Toua in their first games for the season.

The Devils extended their lead to 18 - 0 with tries to Rhys Flavell and skipper Riley Johannasen and only one conversion. Will Jackson was sent from the field for an unfortunate reflex trip and Blake Walsh went to the sin bin in quick succession for scrapping.

Down to 11 men, the Devils defence was willing, the desperate scrambling continued while they played out the remainder of the game with 12 to get to the full time whistle ahead 18 - 10.

Special mention to Charles Stafford and Brandon Petri on their first Open Men’s games. A character building win away from home for the Devils 😈😈
