Context matters.

These two images are consecutively frames, approx 1/10 second apart.

If we were presented with only the first image and no accompanying information, we might conclude that the koala was either startled or aggressive. However, the second image provides further information, and we could reasonably propose that the koala is simply moving briskly (like a horse cantering) across open spaces.
