I'm an ESL teacher by trade but bird photography has been my greatest passion and obsession over the past few years, and even more so, since the international student industry took a huge hit from the pandemic. I take and process my images with a lot of love and always strive to get better at what I do. I sell prints of my work and occasionally sell photos to artists to use as a reference for the

ir art. It is a great pleasure for me to go out of my way to keep everyone who deals with me absolutely satisfied. :-)

Hello everyone! I hope you have all been doing well. I have been busy with a few projects and bird photography hasn't seen much action for a while. I expect things will stay this way until further notice.

I had a chance to stay at the Bunya Mountains for a night this long weekend and while the trip wasn't meant for birding, I still managed to sneak a few bird shots in here and there.

Here is one of a male Superb Fairywren hiding behind a mother wallaby and her joey. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Till later! Mansour

Happy 2024 everyone!

I'm just back from a trip down the coast to Thredbo and back up to Brisbane. This is an image of a male Flame Robin (Petroica phoenicea) I took at Point Lookout, Ebor, NSW.

As I said in the previous post, this robin was a lifer for me. I had been to the same location in February 2023 but hadn't seen any of them. I later found out that Flame Robins, like some other Australasian robins, may migrate altitudinally, spending the warmer months at higher altitudes and spreading out to lower ground in the cooler months.

Point Lookout is situated at an altitude of 1,564 metres.

I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Thank you very much for supporting my page.

I have been too busy to get out and shoot birds this year but hopefully I’ll have something to post soon. I'm currently roadtripping down the coast. Our first stop was New England National Park, NSW where I saw lifer, the Flame Robin. No mind-blowing shots but the experience made the trip worthwhile. Today, we reached Thredbo Village. The air is cool and crisp. The trees and bushes are full of flowers and the air is perfumed with their fragrance. The Red Wattlebirds and White-eared Honeyeaters are going bunkers for the nectar.
We’re climbing Mount Kosciuszko tomorrow. Hoping for good weather 🤞🤞
