To most people this looks like a car from the 1930 that has been kept in immaculate condition but to fans of the strange and unusual this is something even more special.
In fact this is actually a sporty luxury car made by a japanese coach builing company that first opened it's doors in the 1960s. Now this car isn't 60 years old, it is only 25 years old. The Mitsuoka Le-seyde series 2 started life as a Nissan S15 and was heavily modified from a complete new front and rear to a lengthened front chassis.
Only 80 of the series 2 were produced between 2000 and 2006. This one is number 7 and after being imported a few years ago now spends it's life being driven around Canberra. We were honoured to shoot this amazing piece of Japanese art while it was in Brisbane and talk to the owner about the car.
