Out taking sunset photos last week and the Moon (near full) poked it's head over the clouds. Completely ditched what I was doing to take this.

I've been experimenting with getting this shot for a while now. Full moon rising over Montague Island. You wait for the right moment and pray the conditions are right...which rarely happens. But got a clear shot this day.

One of my favourite places to photograph, Horse Head Rock at Wallaga Lake. Wasn't the greatest sunrise this day, but there were a few minutes where the sun broke through on the horizon and really contrasted with the grey skies. It really added something to these shots. Message me if you would like the settings as they are all different.

This image, or the idea of this image, has been a bit of a pet project for me. I've had a few attempts at it now, and every time it throws up challenges that I have to get around, and learn new things in the process. I'm sure I'll have another crack at it, but for now I'm pretty happy with this.
This is a vertical panorama of 8 images, each of which was created by stacking 9 images taken at the same settings.
If you look at the first two attempts I had at this idea in previous posts you can see the comparison. As mush as I like the result I got here, I think the most satisfying thing is really seeing how much I've learnt about photography in trying these tricky projects.
Settings for all the photos I used were 10sec f/1.8 ISO4000 on the Sony s7iii with the Sony 24mm f/1.8 GM lens.
Stacked using Sequator. Edited using Lightroom and Photoshop.
