So I popped outside today under the back verandah in the rain with the zoom lens hoping to get a bird photo or two. 169 photos later... lol. Then came the editing and now I know why I have so many tiny birds having a field day in our rose garden - the roses are overdue for a prune and are covered in aphids.
Fairy-wrens, Yellow-rumped Thornbills, Willie Wagtails eat your weight in insects please.

Little Willie Wagtail wasn't too happy about sharing 'his' garden with the Fairywren's, Finches and Thornbill's this morning. I suspect it was because I was taking photos of them instead of him. He is a bit of a poser and likes my attention lol.
