Year of the fire horse for the 32nd parade and my favourite Lismore night of he year was positively balmy! Crowds were large, joy was even bigger and I went home with a happy heart after being immersed in community. Was so good to see so many humans I adore and collect hugs all night. Thank you Lismore and especially the Crew who creat this event every year that makes my heart swell.

I ran with the parade for the 19th time this year, but for the finale I wanted a different perspective…so I sat in the grandstand. It was heartwarming and gratifying to hear the crowd react to the wonder in front of them. Watching from above was great for something different and certainly made framing wide shots easier, but I missed seeing and capturing those faces up close. Next year you know where I’ll be!

It's finally here! My favourite Lismore night of the year!
Lismore Lantern Parade rehearsals last night and these humans are going to bring you fiery goodness in the finale.
So many months of work goes into this night, with a massive crew of people doing so many different things to make the night happen. Show them all some love and if you can, donations to keep it going. See you there tonight for my 26th parade, my 19th taking photos! Yeeeeewwwww!
