Sellicks Beach, South Australia.

This image was captured at 4.00pm. I love reflections with photography and this stretch of beach is fabulous when the receding tide leaves behind a film of water on the sand, reflecting the cliffs in the distance. It?s a ?drive-on? beach (10kph limit) - one of several along the local coastline and I often drive along, seeking the best spot, from which to capture the reflections. Gear & settings: Nikon D500/Nikkor 16-80mm f/2.8-4.0 | ISO 100 | f/8 | 1/400sec | 69mm EFL. RAW file, edited in Lightroom.

The cafe in the middle of Adelaide Arcade always interests me, especially the statue. On the morning of 2026, the light shone through the roof glass like spotlight on the cafe and its statue, highlighting their sense of history. I took the photo at this moment.

Camera settings: f/2.8,1/640s,iso100, handheld.
