So, I did a thing 🎨👩‍🎨

A Pair of Brown Boobies😂😝😆

This illustration has been a labor of love. I started it back in September last year, working entirely freehand🖌️✍️,and after 26.5 hours of detailing, I finally brought these two brown bo***es to life.

I wanted to capture both the beauty and humour of these seabirds, It’s been a rewarding process, and while there were moments of frustration, it reminded me why I love drawing—there’s something special about seeing an idea slowly take shape.

I hope this piece brings a smile to your face the way it did for me while creating it!

Today was an unforgettable experience. After work, I rushed to Marion Cinema to be a special guest on the Q&A panel following the screening of the new David Attenborough documentary- Ocean. His words are powerful, his truths undeniable—I highly recommend everyone go see this film.

A massive thank you to my wonderful friends and family who came to support me. Your presence means the world. Huge appreciation to Sea Shepherd for bringing me onto the panel—such a privilege to be part of this discussion.

To the 120 people who attended, thank you for showing up, for watching, for engaging with insightful and challenging questions during the panel. The level of interest and engagement from the audience was inspiring.

And to cap off an already wonderful opportunity —I’ve been invited to do a presentation at the Wildlife and Exotics Special Interest Group(Adelaide Uni, Roseworthy Campus). Exciting things ahead!

If we save the sea, we save our world.— David Attenborough .

Never in my day would I have imagined being part of a Q&A panel—let alone one with Sea Shepherd, following a documentary featuring Sir David Attenborough himself. What an absolute honor!

Sir David has been a guiding force in my love for nature, the ocean, and wildlife for as long as I can remember. His work sparked my passion for conservation, and to now have the opportunity to be part of this discussion feels surreal.

If you’re free on Mother’s Day or looking for something to do, come along to the screening of Ocean with David Attenborough! This documentary is a stunning tribute to our oceans, and I would love to see you there.

A heartfelt thank you to Sea Shepherd for reaching out and inviting me to be part of this panel. I am so grateful and truly humbled by this opportunity.

Today, I had the absolute joy of visiting the Port Adelaide Visitor Information Centre to see my illustrations on display at the Connection 2025 Coastal Ambassadors Art Exhibition—and I was completely blown away! Four out of five of my illustrations have already sold. Knowing that someone connected with my artwork so deeply that they had to take it home is beyond rewarding.

I hope that wherever these pieces find their new homes, they continue to spark conversations about the beauty of our coastal/estuaries marine life and the incredible birds that inhabit it.

This exhibition is such a wonderful opportunity, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the support. The exhibit is open until the 30th, so if you haven’t yet, make sure to drop by and take in the incredible artwork on display. Plus, the visitor centre itself is an absolute gem!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along this journey—it truly means the world!

Yesterday, The Big Blue Crew, Flinders Uni Underwater Club, OzFish, and Adelaide Canoe Club joined forces for a Dive Against Debris and Beach Clean-up Day.

We had 27 amazing volunteers (including a doggo) who dedicated their time to leave the Onkaparinga River better than they found it.

We collected over 60 kg of rubbish, with a significant amount of soft plastics—the most I’ve ever seen!

What did we find?

106 sinkers
42 hooks
36 Glass bottles
18 Plastic bottles
17 Cans
13 soft plastic lures
13 hard body lure
11 Thongs
7 Large full bags of soft plastic
6 Kids plastic toys
5 Shoes
5 Balls
5 Plastic containers
4 Safety cones
3 Hats
3 Golf balls
3 Car parts
2 Buckets of hard plastic
2 Buckets of random items
1 Car Jack
1 Soccer ball
1 Woolworths shopping trolley
1 Measurement tape
1 Unopened can of tuna
1 Bag of clothes
1 Stubby holder
1 Fishing rod
1 Tyre rim
1 Rug
1 Pot
1 Safety sign
1 box bait trap
1 Bucket filled with fast food items (KFC, McDonald’s, and Subway were the main culprits)
1 Glass
1 Plate
1 Spray can
1 Bucket of broken items
1 Pillow
1 Pair of swimming goggles

Huge thanks to Scubapro, Adopt-a-Spot, Onkaparinga Council, Clean Up Australia, Brad from OzFish, Flinders Uni, Adelaide Canoe Club, and Janine Baker for their contributions.

When community groups and organizations work together, we can make a bigger impact on the environment. Together, we create ripples of positive change that reach far and wide.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who helped today. The waterways and oceans are grateful.

See you at the next Dive Against Debris and Beach Clean-up Day - Diving Adelaide dive against debris at Garden Island on the 23 of March.

Blue, my boy! Happy 5th Birthday ❤️🎉🎂🥳

You are not only loved by me; despite your early retirement from your working career, I know you are still loved and missed by the crew, tour guides, visitors, and passengers from Rodney Fox Shark Expeditions. The entire staff of Mile End Office Furniture also adores you! And Mark? He misses you so much 🤫🤫🤐

All our family and friends think the world of you.

Considering the rough start you had in life, you have come such a long way. I am so proud of you!

You are loyal, loving, smart, happy, and have a great sense of humor. You do have a slight addiction to balls and find your safe place under tables and chairs due to past trauma. But, Blue, you are you, and that’s just fine. From your tail to your wag, each furry line. No one else is quite like Blue. In a world so big, there’s only one of you!

The day I met you and rescued you, I will never forget. You came shyly running up to me and hid under my legs, a tiny little ball shaking. I gave you a little pat, and your tail started wagging. I knew from that moment you were coming home with me.

Blue, you deserve all the happiness, love, adventure in the world, balls and bacon😂

I love you, Blue boy, wombat, piglet, lemur, shelfy, Blue Shark dog 🥰😘😘😘 Thank you for choosing me as your person.

I hope you enjoy all your new toys 🎁
