James. Fisherman. Koh Lanta/Thailand. Aug/2024.
I produced a still unpublished portrait series of fishermen on the island of Koh Lanta.
I spent two days with James and his friends — talking, observing and getting to know their daily routines before photographing them.

The humidity, the heat, the long quiet hours by the water — everything moved slower there.
I couldn’t resist already sharing one portrait from the series here.

Lucas. Lisbon. March/2023.
I was preparing a portfolio for a client today when I came across this portrait of Lucas , shot in my former studio at LX Factory in Lisbon.

It was an honour to create the lookbook for his agency back then — even though he looks serious here, we had a lot of fun shooting.

Portraiture is still one of the things I enjoy most in photography.

It was such a great experience to photograph this production last autumn at the venue Reaktor

Capturing the world premiere meant working within a dense and dynamic setting — multiple layers of sound, movement, performance and audience unfolding at the same time!

Finally I completed the edits from Tam Thanh, Vietnam, May/2024.
I arrived just as a storm was rolling in, leaving the streets completely quiet.
The village is known for its murals, but it was the small, unposed moments – like a quick laugh with a guy during his workout – that really stuck with me.
