We’re so excited that one of our photos was awarded in the Junebug Weddings Destination Photo Contest 🎉❤️

This morning with A&J, paddling across an idyllic alpine lake in Austria, was pure magic. It was one of our favorite experiences from last year’s elopement season, which makes this recognition feel even more special.

Seeing this image alongside so many incredible photographs from talented artists all over the world is such an honor. It’s also been so much fun spotting the work of many friends throughout this year’s collection. ❤️

M&J started their incredible elopement day with a helicopter flight. The helicopter stopped at the most beautiful mountain locations, where they shared their vows and exchanged rings. It was the perfect beginning to one of the most adventure-filled elopement days we ever documented.

When looking at this picture, it is hard to believe how many more highlights came after this golden sunrise.
They did a scenic flight over the Dolomites 🚁 with another stop on an even higher location for a breakfast picnic, and a round of chess ♟️
After being back in the valley, we took a gondola up another mountain from where they went paragliding 🪂
A boat ride 🚣‍♂️ on an idyllic alpine lake was the next highlight before they had a lovely 🍰 cake picnic at the lake shore.
We ended the day with a musical first dance in the fog. And honestly, I couldn’t think of a way how this day could have been any more exciting, what an incredible day to get married and start this new life together ❤️

It’s June, which also means hiking elopement season is in full swing! We can’t wait to meet all the lovely couples, see the most beautiful mountain locations, colorful sunrises and sunsets and document so many wonderful lovestories in the next weeks!

Happy anniversary A&J ❤️

I can’t believe it's been a year since A&J celebrated their stunning elopement in the Austrian Alps. They explored idyllic mountain lakes, got legally married, hiked to the top of a mountain, and read their vows while the setting sun created the most magical colors. The whole day was filled with so many special moments, love, little details, and epic views - it was one of the days where you get tempted to pinch yourself to make sure it’s not a dream ✨

Some of the most magical moments happen after sunset or before sunrise — during blue hour, when the world is quiet, the sky turns deep and dreamy, and the last glow still lingers in the clouds.

Honestly, what could ever be more beautiful than golden sunrise or sunset light in the mountains? That soft, warm glow touching the peaks feels like pure magic — every single time.

And this morning with L&T was something truly special. One of the most golden, dreamy lights we had all season — the kind that makes you soak in every second.
