What a ski day in April in looks like?

We started the day by taking the Rüfikopf, skiing above 2000 enjoying the great conditions of the ski runs continuing by the Zürser Täli (144) that honestly never disappoints.

Around lunchtime, we stopped at one of the mountain huts for some traditional Austrian dishes, the perfect break for our next program!

What makes April skiing here especially unique is the Music Festival. Where you can enjoy live performances on and off the ski runs across the Arlberg.

Skiing from one spot to another, straight into live music, adds something extra to the day.

Will you be here during the final week of the season? If not, it is definitely one to keep in mind for next year.

Had this idea in my head for a long time
combining skiing, light and flash.

Yesterday we finally gave it a first try.
But it didn’t really go as planned.

On the first attempt: (third photo)
- exposure took to long
- flash was too strong
- the light line gets kinda wavy from small shakes.

Second run was already better.
Darker, cleaner light.

But we still had the problem with the light line, it didn't look as curvy as we wanted and also wavy light again.
So I tried to crop into the image and only use the part with a nice looking line. This is what we got. Photo 1 and 2. 😁

I truly can't wait to experiment more with it in future and get better with action sport light painting photos. 👀
