Hike the Schwarzwassertal is definitely special. I love the view of the Ifen and the Schwarzwasserhütte. So idyllic and postcard-like with the two cows.

I can't help it.... after every hike, my SD card and phone are full of cow pictures.
But I don't think it's a bad thing. Cows and mountains are just picture-perfect most of the time and the Kleinwalsertal cows are some of the prettiest and friendliest I have ever encountered 🤩

Another view of the Kanzelwand Station! This time from the Kuhgehren side.

In the corner, you see the "Adlerhorst" Restaurant, which is a very easy walk from the gondola station.

The beautiful Kuhgehrenspitze! From there you will have a beautiful panorama view into the Kleinwalsertal Valley. Don't forget to stop at the Kugehren Alpe for a buttermilk!

The Kanzelwand Cross can get quite busy! It's a fairly easy walk from the gondola station but put on hiking boots as there is loose gravel etc. to reach the viewpoint & cross at 2.058 meters.
