Two temples, two religions, two sacred places, and an unforgettable mountainous landscape.

Geghard is a medieval monastery in Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. While the main chapel was built in 1215, the monastery complex was founded in the 4th century at the site of a spring inside a cave.

The Temple of Garni is the only standing Hellenistic colonnaded building in Armenia and the entirety of ex-USSR, and a symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. It was probably built around the first century AD as a temple to the sun god Mihr.

Szentendre is a beautiful small town in Hungary, very close to the capital city Budapest. The name of the town is based on the Medieval Latin form Sankt Andrae ("St. Andrew").

The calm provincial life of the town has been attracting artists since the beginning of the 20th century. The Szentendre colony of artists came into existence in 1929, more than two hundred fine and applied artists, authors, poets, musicians, and actors live in Szentendre.

There are many beautiful baroque churches dominating the landscape, and a few interesting museums. Out of seven churches in Szentendre, only one was historically Roman Catholic, and all the others were built by Orthodox Serbs.

Veyernaya ul. is a street in Moscow with a few inference soviet architectural artifacts - a chain of panel buildings built in a shape of a "veyer" (hand fan), and one of the Round Houses.

The Round Houses in Moscow are 2 nine-floors residential buildings built circularly, in Western Moscow in 1970.

They were built in a very different design from the regular "panel block" houses of that era.
The diameter of the structure is 155 meters (around 500 feet). It has 26 entrances, 913 apartments and six big archways to enter the courtyard.

The rooms here are not rectangular but more like trapezoids, which makes it harder to place furniture.

Despite all the weaknesses of the project, after about half a century, architectural scholars call it a project that preceded its time and paralleled it to the modern headquarters of Apple in California.
