They said go where you are valued, so I ran to God — where I didn’t have to edit my story, soften my scars, or prove my worth. I came carrying doubts, failures, unanswered prayers, and a heart tired of trying to be enough. Instead of rejection, I found grace. Instead of judgment, I found patience. I was seen fully — every flaw, every fear, every quiet cry — and still welcomed with a love that didn’t require me to earn my place.

In a world that values performance, perfection, and appearance, God valued my honesty. He met me in my weakness, not to shame me, but to restore me. Running to Him didn’t make life easier overnight, but it made it lighter. Because when you’re held by a love that already knows the worst of you and chooses you anyway, you finally understand what it means to be home.
