Preparing for Emirates and Riyadh Air using the same strategy will not work. They test different skills. Emirates focuses on a strict 5-star legacy standard, and Riyadh Air wants modern, innovative crew members. We are breaking down both assessment days in a new video premiering today at 6:00 p.m. Central Eastern Time (Prague time, Europe).

[BREAKING] The locked cockpit door was designed after 2001 to keep threats out. But what happens when the threat is already inside?

The recent events on flydubai flight FZ1073 have left the aviation industry in complete shock. A routine morning flight to Tel Aviv turned into a fight for survival, ending with a 4,267-meter dive and an unprecedented rescue by passengers and off-duty crew. It is a harsh reminder that while we build perfect machines, human behavior remains the most unpredictable factor in aviation safety.

Today, let us take a moment to respect the incredible bravery of Captain Smit Machchhar, the off-duty professionals, and the everyday travelers who stepped up when it mattered most.

Emirates is expanding its A350 fleet to 36 aircraft this winter. This means more flying, faster turnarounds, and a big push for new cabin crew.

But here's the reality check. Because applicant numbers are so high, recruiters are aggressively filtering out rehearsed, robotic answers. They want to see how you handle real pressure and unpredictability. If you want to secure your spot, you need to show emotional intelligence, not just a painted-on smile.

Learn exactly how this fleet growth changes your interview strategy. Link in bio:

The Middle East aviation market is changing fast. Airlines are moving away from cheap seats and focusing entirely on premium luxury.

What does this mean for your dream job? Recruiters are getting stricter. They are testing your patience, your tone of voice, and how you handle pressure. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is treating an Open Day like a casual job interview.

You have to prove you belong in a 5-star cabin from the very first minute.

Have you heard the news about the Boeing 777X? Emirates is refusing to take the first batch of planes because they've been sitting around for years waiting for approval. They've been torn apart, fixed and patched up to fit with the FAA regulatory guidelines, simply because they rushed into the manufacturing too soon before getting FAA clearance. Sir Tim Clak, Emirates president, simply stated "We’re not taking that batch, and that’s it" comparing the B777X to a tin of Heinz baked beans.

While this sounds like bad news, it's actually good. Emirates is on a hiring spree, even without these aircraft arriving in Dubai. The A350 alone has prompted the airline to push for several back to back hiring waves, which with the 777X will significantly increase exponentially. The 777X is much larger than the A350 and require more operating crew. When these new jets finally arrive in 2027, Emirates is going to need thousands of new crew members to fly them.

The delay gives you the exact time you need to perfect your CV and interview skills before the hiring rush begins. Are you getting ready for the next wave of open days?

Emirates just refused delivery of their first Boeing 777X jets. Sir Tim Clark made it blatantly clear "We’re not taking that batch, and that’s it". The first batch of 777X is not compliant with FAA guidenlines and needed a complete teardown. Emirates demands perfection, and so should you.

These delays mean the next big hiring wave will hit hard when the planes finally arrive in 2027. Don't wait until the last minute. Start fixing your CV and practicing your interview skills today, so you're ready when the airline needs you most. Read the full story at the link in bio, or here:

Emirates just ordered over 375 brand-new jets, including the Airbus A350, Boeing 777X, and Boeing 787. They also just added Premium Economy to Mauritius and started flying the new A350 to Kuala Lumpur.

For the last twenty years, Emirates flew mostly two planes: the huge double-decker A380 and the Boeing 777. That setup was built to bring everyone through Dubai.

That setup is changing right now.

A giant four-engine A380 burns up to 12,000 kilograms of fuel every hour. The new twin-engine A350 burns around 5,800 kilograms. It uses roughly 25% less fuel per seat.

Why is this important?

Dubai has a huge economic plan called D33. They want to connect with 400 new partner cities. You cannot fly a 500-seat double-decker into small cities. The runways are too small and there are not enough passengers. The new, smaller planes let Emirates fly to smaller cities and still make a profit.

Here's how it works for your career:

More plane types mean you will not just fly one aircraft for years. You will learn to fly multiple airplanes during your very first year. That means different equipment location, different features and SOPs.

On an A380, you have 20 crew members and huge galleys. On an A350, your team is smaller, and everyone sees your work.

Recruiters are not grading whether you memorized a fake response. They want to see if you can think on your feet, stay calm under pressure, and work with different teams without losing your temper or getting stuck.
