A letter to the industry (2024)

Photographed by Abdulla Elmaz

A portrait close up, splattered with mud, the grime of passion, the mess of expectation.
Up close, it feels like disgust. Bitterness. The weight of being used.
Zoom out, and the scene unfolds: standing alone in a muddy field, the car drives off, splattering one last mark, a final careless gift.
This is the industry, it takes, it stains, it abandons.
Love and hate coexist, devotion persists, and the pain remains.
I want you. I need you. You don’t care.

Anxiety (2025)
rubinava Photographed by Abdulla Elmaz

Sometimes it’s hard to shake the feeling that someone is always watching.
A tight chest, a restless mind, anxiety can’t be silenced completely, though pills may dull it.
It lingers, ever-present, like a gallery of timeless Renaissance portraits whose eyes follow you, marking every moment.
No matter what we do, it’s there, making time feel smaller, heavier, and inescapable.

Trapped inside a limbo, Watching through a window (2025)

Photographed by Abdulla Elmaz

A modern cage of judgment.
Step outside, and the world watches.
Our footprints are mapped, our actions tracked. Society observes every move, amplified by our digital lives.
Home becomes the only sanctuary.
The window becomes a lens for the soul, a space to watch, reflect, and be undisturbed.

Half Remembered Dream (2023)

Photographed by Abdulla Elmaz

Dreams feel real while we’re in them, right?
It’s only when we wake that we notice the strangeness, a misplaced object, a warped detail,
a reality slightly off-key.
You never remember the beginning.
You simply arrive, already in the middle of something unfolding.
When we’re awake, we access only a fraction of the mind’s potential.
But in sleep, the brain becomes an architect, capable of building worlds, bending logic,
and rewriting reality.
