Wala na pala akong oras kay Thea. 😔

Lately, na-assess ko yung sarili ko na masyado na kong naka-focus sa mga gawaing bahay at pag-paplan ng side hustles to the point na naneneglect ko na pala si Thea. Lagi niya kong tinatawag at niyayang maglaro pero lagi kong dinadivert yung attention niya na mag screen-time na lang siya para magawa ko yung mga gusto kong gawin. Kanina habang naghuhugas ako ng plato tinatawag na naman niya ako gusto niya magpagawa ng paper toys. Sabi ko wait lang baby pero sa isip ko andami ko na namang ibang planong gawin at naboboring akong makipaglaro.

Pag-lingon ko sa kanya nakatingin siya sakin, naramdaman ko yung lungkot sa mata niya at talagang hinihintay niya ako na umupo sa tabi niya. Bigla kong nafeel yung guilt sa heart ko dahil mas napapriotize ko na pala yung ibang bagay kaysa sa kanya. Agad agad akong umupo sa tabi niya at nagbigay ng quality time and undivided attention to bond with her kahit na napaka-kalat ng bahay at andaming nakapila sa to-do-list ko. God reminded me that doing house chores and side hustles are not my main purpose, it is to build His kingdom. Pano ko madidisciple si Thea kung hindi ko siya nabibigyan ng sapat na oras at atensyon.

Until now I'm still learning how to manage my time well, planning ahead and organizing activities according to my priority list lalo na't impulsive and spontaneous person ako.

I can say that I'm still in a messy phase of exploring this season of my life being an amateur homemaker while building God's kingdom yet I'm trusting the process, clinging to the grace of God and hoping it will all be beautiful someday. 💛🙏

NAKAKAIYAK MAG-ULAM NG ITLOG AT TUYO!

Isa sa mga gusto ko talagang inuulam ay ang itlog at tuyo tapos sasabawan pa ng kape yung kanin. Aughh sarap! Simple lang siya at hindi ganun ka-garbo yung lasa niya pero napaka espesyal sakin kasi ibinabalik niya lahat ng alaala ko simula nung pagkabata ko.

Kanina habang kumakain kami ng agahan, itlog at tuyo ang ulam namin. Nagulat si Mel kasi bigla na lang akong umiyak at naging emosyonal. Nasabi ko lang "Nakakamiss sa Pinas no"?
Pero sa isip ko para akong nanunuod ng T.V. sa sobrang linaw ng mga alaala ko--mga espesyal na moments nung bata ako hanngang sa paglaki ko--mga tawanan, pagkain ng sabay sabay, asaran namin nila kuya, mama at papa simpleng mga memories pero nakakataba ng puso at ramdam mo yung pagmamahal kahit hindi namin sinasabi sa isa't isa.

Habang umiiyak at inaaalala ko yung mga memories na yun, narealize ko na napaka bilis talaga ng panahon at sobra pala talaga yung impact at impluwensya ng pamilya sa buhay ng tao. Pamilya ang may pinaka-malaking ambag kung ano at sino tayo ngayon. Kaya naman mas lalo kong pinahalagan yung sarili kong pamilya at paano ko imamanage yung oras na meron ako para mahalin at pagsilbihan sila sa abot ng aking makakaya kasama at sa tulong ng panginoong Hesus at ayon sa disenyo niya.

As a stay-at-home mom with the hectic life doing the unending tasks and errands at home we tend to choose the convenient ways/shortcuts/multi-tasking in doing our daily tasks for us to save energy and time. There is nothing wrong about that in fact it can make our life more easy and efficient. However it doesnt work all the time specially when it comes to parenting/teaching our children. Through experience, research and from other mom's wisdom I realized that we need enough time and energy in nurturing them. We need to be intentional ang give them an undivided time in order to get to know them, understand them and what approach we should use for them to learn and grow. So I came up with this "No Stroller Challenge" mini vlog with baby Thea since it's one of my comfort zone to use stroller whenever we go outside specially when going to grocery near us which I thought I am already wasting the opportunity for Thea to explore, develop her sense of direction and awareness of her surroundings. So friends, we hope you guys like it and learn something from our mini vlog. Enjoy!
