冰川融水從高地奔流而下
在狹窄峽谷中連續墜落兩層
巨大的水霧與轟鳴聲吞沒了周圍的一切

Away from the crowds and viewing platforms,
the true scale of Gullfoss begins to reveal itself.

Fed by Iceland’s glacial rivers,
the water plunges through two successive drops before disappearing into a narrow canyon below.

沿著Leitisvatn 湖畔的小徑行走
腳下是被海風吹拂的草地
眼前高地深藍色的湖水
遠看像是連接著遠處的北大西洋

Far from villages and roads, this is my favorite hiking trail in the Faroe Islands.

Following the path along Lake Leitisvatn, the wind sweeps across the grasslands while the deep blue water stretches across the highlands ahead. From certain angles, the lake seems to blend seamlessly into the North Atlantic beyond, making it hard to tell where the lake ends and the ocean begins.
